Tsakiridis Kosmas

Kosmas Tsakiridis was born in 1967. In 1990 he graduated from the School of Primary Education, with honors, rank: 8^th and in 1996 from the School of Medicine, Democritus University of Thrace, Greece, rank: 5^th and received his license to practice Medicine. He has worked as Resident in General Surgery at the General Hospital of Komotini, Greece (Director: Dr. D.Gimnopoulos) and at the General Hospital of Alexandroupoli, Greece (Director: Dr. Em.Chatzipaschalis), as Redundant doctor in the Department of General Surgery at the General Hospital of Alexandroupoli (Director: G.Bougioukas). He was Resident in the Department of Cardiac & Thoracic Surgery, Alexandroupoli. In 2006 he got his Acquisition of Surgical Specialty (Thoracic Surgery), he founded and has the leadership of an autonomous team of Cardiac & Thoracic surgeons at St Luke’s Hospital, Thessaloniki. From 2010 until 2016 he was the Director of Cardiac & Thoracic Department of St Luke’s Hospital.

He is the General Secretary of the Hellenic Society of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgeons and General Secretary of the Association “Lung Cancer Diagnostic and Treatment Group”, also he is the Treasurer in the Treasury of Professional Insurance of Medical Association of Thessaloniki.
